Wellington is calling on its residents to roll up their sleeves and make a difference in the community with the Great American Cleanup! From 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, April 26th volunteers will be picking up trash and loose litter along Greenbriar Blvd. & Greenview Shores Blvd. and in the Folkestone/Yarmouth community. Water, lunch and t-shirts will be supplied to those participating by Wellington and its partners Ultima Fitness, the Mall at Wellington Green, Jet Hauling, Tara Management, and Wellington’s Interfaith group.

To register for the event, visit www.wellingtonfl.gov and click on the “Great American Cleanup” icon on the scrolling events section and download the volunteer application form. Completed forms can be returned to the Community Services Office (1100 Wellington Trace) or participants can scan and email the form to Scott Campbell, Community Programs Manager, at scampbell@wellingtonfl.gov. Volunteer registration forms can also be completed on site the day of the event.
