Enjoy an evening of clay, pottery, and imagination. This Art Cellar workshop with Sarah Glass Ceramics is a beginner’s pottery class that does not require any artistic experience! During this guided workshop you’ll learn ceramics basics and getting hands-on wheel throwing or hand building instruction using white stoneware clay. You’ll learn the necessary skills needed for making functional pottery (plates, bowls, cups) and get some time on the wheel, with tips and tricks provided by Sarah. Sarah, a local pottery artist, will guide you step-by-step to create a work of art you will be proud to claim as yours! We will provide all necessary supplies, including reasonably priced beer and wine! We look forward to finding the creative person in each of you so, let’s COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES!
Class Minimum of 4, if class does not meet minimum Art Cellar will honor refund. You will leave your project to dry and be glazed and need to pick-up your finished masterpiece on 10/3 5:30-7:30.
