So this morning my daughter and I joined the meet-up group mom fit 4 fun on a fire station tour here in Wellington. It was entertaining for my 11 month old. However more informative for the older top older toddler. The firefighter did a presentation for the children about fire safety and other various safety tips. One lucky young boy got to try on a fire suit. After the presentation we got a tour of the fire house and also got a tour of the ambulance and the fire truck. The little ones were able to climb around in the cab of the fire truck and get pictures taken. It was very nice of the firefighters to spare their time and their space for group of moms and kids to learn a little bit about safety.
